Remote Toilet Facilities

The introduction of these amenities was an important step to provide basic facilities that would, in turn, create more inclusion and diversity for BHP’s rail workers.

Because of the remote location and the potential costs with maintaining the facilities, it was essential that the toilets were low maintenance, have a low environmental impact and would last
in the harsh conditions.

Our solution was to provide a ‘batch’ style composting toilet. We supplied them as complete buildings with toilets that could easily
be transported and dropped on-site.
